Celebrities may sometimes seem like another breed apart from us entirely. So beautiful and perfect, their every moment tailored and controlled by handlers, agents and beauticians. And their relationships are more tumultuous than any it can seem, the gossip columns constantly full of their breakups and reconnections. Are they just something to gawk at from afar or can normal people learn anything from them about their own dating lives?
One interesting fact is that some of the most successful celebrity relationships are actually based on a connection between one Hollywood insider and someone from outside the system. The biggest and most explosive breakups seem to happen when two actors are dating or similar liasons occur. When they date an outsider it seems like it is much more likely to last. Why is this? The best relationships are the ones where balance exists. Good personals sites will allow one to find matches who not just meet one’s requirements but also have complementing differences. Where one might be impulsive the other is grounded, one artistic while the other succeeding at rational or financial pursuits. When these meet up well, it can result in a much more solid relationship than would have existed otherwise.

This is especially true for those who work in sensitive industries like teaching or the medical professions where being seen doing sexual things can result in the loss of livelihood. Maintaining the division between the two lives, the bedroom and the rest, with discretion leads to happier relationships even when we are not world famous celebrities with our reputations on the line.
Also be aware of one’s communications. Celebrities are frequently caught cheating but so are regular people. Many divorces involve social networking. Use discretion for one’s private life especially when engaging in liasons on the site. A dating site is only as safe as the anonymity it provides.
